THIS WEEK, TOGETHER WITH THE CHIEF RABBI OF ISRAEL RABBI YONAH METZGER SHLITA, THE HEADS AND DIRECTORS OF THE IMPORTANT CHARITY ORGANIZATION “THE HASDEI NAOMI” HAVE ARRANGED A MEETING TO SALUTE AND SHOW ESTEEM TO THE “MATERNA” COMPANY TO MARK THE PARTICULARLY SUCCESSFUL ENDING OF THE CHARITY CAMPAIGN “MATERNA MITZVAH 11”
MORE THAN 200,000 SPOONS WERE COLLECTED DURING THE CAMPAIGN !

For the last 11 years, the “MATERNA” COMPANY has been involved in “MATERNA MITZVAH”, a huge charity campaign organized with the cooperation of the consumers and “THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION.
Within the frame of the campaign, the consumers have collected the measuring spoons included in the “MATERNA” baby formulas and the empty “MATERNA” baby cereals packages, then they have mailed them or brought them to the “THE HASDEI NAOMI” Mobile Collection Carts. In exchange for these, the “MATERNA” COMPANY has donated to “THE HASDEI NAOMI” thousands of baby formulas for the benefit of the needy families.
As we said, this campaign, which has been running for its eleventh consecutive year, has been this year again very successful.
The consumers from all around the country collected more than 200,000 spoons.
This week, the heads and directors of “THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION have arranged a meeting to salute and show esteem to the “MATERNA” COMPANY for its generous donation for the benefit of the community. The guest of honor at this meeting was the CHIEF RABBI OF ISRAEL RABBI YONAH METZGER SHLITA, who spoke with pride of the importance and of the tremendous help of the “MATERNA” COMPANY contribution. The Rabbi surprised the audience, when he told them that, for the success of the “MATERNA MITZVAH 11” campaign, the members of his family had been enlisted to help and support the various “HASDEI NAOMI” Offices and schools. The RABBI ended with a moving blessing to the “MATERNA” COMPANY that they may have the privilege of feeding infants and babes, and that the merit of the great Mitzvah, to which they are committed, will stand them in good stead for the future, Blessing for Success.
THE GENERAL MANAGER OF THE MA'ABAROT GROUP, MR. YIGAL GALI said that the “MATERNA” COMPANY considers the enormous importance of its contribution to the Hareidi Community. “The actual fact of the existence of the campaign for the last 11 consecutive years, shows and proves the COMPANY 's commitment to this public and the strong link, which exists between the “MATERNA” COMPANY and its clients, mothers and babies in the Hareidi Community.”
With much emotion The Chairman of “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION Rabbi Yossef Cohen blessed the General Manager of the “MATERNA” COMPANY and all the partners and supporters of this great charity campaign for their worthy contribution. Rabbi Cohen said: “Unfortunately, the distress is only growing from day to day. The “MATERNA” COMPANY 's contribution is simply saving us and sustaining the needy families.”
