“THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN CHOSEN AS ONE OF THE THREE LEADING ASSOCIATIONS IN THE ORTHODOX SECTOR, TO WHOM THE PELEPHONE COMPANY HAS UNDERTAKEN TO MAKE A DONATION AGAINST THE PURCHASE OF A NEW CELLULAR PHONE OR ITS UPGRADING DURING THE PERIOD OF THE CAMPAIGN. |

THE PELEPHONE COMPANY has announced a move specifically designed for the orthodox sector, which enables it to donate to the leading associations. Starting on Monday the 26th of Iyyar (10 May 2010), when a cellular phone in any of the various services is purchased or upgraded by a client, THE PELEPHONE COMPANY will donate NIS 100 to one of three charity associations : “KUPATH HA'YR”, “THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION, and “YAD ELIEZER”. All the year round, these associations are in charge of benevolence and charity projects for the needy families. THE PELEPHONE COMPANY will enable each client to choose, to which of the three associations the money should be donated.
During a festive event organized by THE PELEPHONE COMPANY, which took place at the Sheraton City Tower Hotel in Ramat Gan, under the patronage of the former Chief Rabbi of Israel, RABBI YISRAEL MEIR LAU SHLITA and in the presence of the Associations Heads included also distinguished members of the community, and many journalists. Rabbi Lau Shlita and the Associations Heads blessed the most welcome move of THE PELEPHONE COMPANY.
During the event, MR. ASAF OFER, VP MARKETING at THE PELEPHONE COMPANY, said “THE PELEPHONE COMPANY undertook to create ways of cooperation with those Associations, which constitute the perfect mosaic to the needs of the community and which are busy with charity to the needy families and with the advancement of the orthodox sector and its values. These Associations were chosen after an extensive survey, which was conducted lately by the COMPANY and received the support and blessing from THE GREAT ISRAEL SCHOLARS SHLITA”.
“THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION was created twenty-eight years ago by RABBI YOSSEF COHEN. The main occupation of the ORGANIZATION is to do charity secretly for the needy families and this by supporting thousands of families through distribution of food products to the needy, by organizing weddings in specialized halls for the orphans, and giving support to the sick people and children. The ORGANIZATION voluntary system includes thousands of men and women volunteers all around the country. |
