The summary of the events, which took place at the Banquet Halls “Armonot Chen” under the supervision of the “Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization, show that during the year 5770 [2009-2010] 539 weddings were organized, of which 101 “Mitzvah Weddings” were organized with the help of the “Hasdei Naomi” Organization.
The “Mitzvah Weddings” are called “good deed weddings” because they are held for grooms and brides, who are either orphans or special cases of disability, have health problems or are faced with severe financial difficulties. The “Hasdei Naomi” Organization gives them full support and accompanies the future couple in all their preparations towards the big day, beginning with the Banquet Halls “Armonot Chen” received free of charge and continuing with getting the money needed to pay for the catering, photographer, DJ [Disk Jockey], including the bride's dress and all the expenses of the joyful event.
The data analysis show that the highest number of “Mitzvah Weddings” were held during the months of Kislev [November -December] and Adar [February -March], when 14 “Mitzvah Weddings” were held during each one of these months with the help and support of the “Hasdei Naomi” Organization.
Another interesting factor indicates that the month of Cheshvan [October -November] reached the top month of the year with 65 being the number of weddings held then, whilst the month of Tishrei [September -October], the month of all the great Holidays, with only 16 weddings held then, came as the lowest month for weddings.
The Chairman of “The Hasdei Naomi” Organization Rabbi Yossef Cohen said: “With Heaven's Help, we have been worthy of fulfilling an average of 10 “Mitzvah Weddings” per month. Unfortunately right now at the beginning of this New Year we can see a growing tendency for more “Mitzvah Weddings” every month. We do hope that we shall be able to undertake this mission to the fullest.”

What gives it its unique trait is the basic fact that those participating in the wedding event do not know if it has been paid in full by the couple or organized with the financing support of the “Hasdei Naomi” Organization.
