In the heart of the Bnei Brak Industrial Zone, there stands a gloriously large building complex for prestigious and luxurious wedding halls and events: the Banquet Halls “Armonot Chen”.
Surprisingly, despite the pomp and luxury, the prices of standard events in these Halls, are not high at all and affordable to all and sundry (41 shekels per serving ...) and needy families receive also a significant discount depending on their situation.
However, the main concept, unique and first of its kind, is that in these magnificent halls we organize also “Mitzvah Weddings” also called “good deed weddings” because they are held for grooms and brides, who are orphans and for the needy. The “Hasdei Naomi” Organization finances these weddings, including the Hall, the dinner, and all the associated expenses required to enjoy a tasteful respectable ceremony like that of anyone else.
Details of discounts or of non-payment for the event are summarized and discreetly signed at the “Hasdei Naomi” Organization offices. The guests, who arrive at the gates of the Hall, have no way to know whether the event, to which they participate, has been paid or fully funded by the “Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization.
The Banquet Halls “Armonot Chen” quite soon turned out to be a favourite centre to organize joyful events among all classes of people and sectors. There are some wealthy people, who actually want to have the wedding of their children at the Banquet Halls “Armonot Chen” as a message and a statement about not wasting large sums of money on the joyful ceremony.
Moreover, there are those celebrators, who, on the day of their joy, are happy to seek how to help brides and grooms orphans and needy. Many of them pay an additional contribution for the joyful event of orphans. In recognition, these orphans, who are getting married owing to the contribution, pray for the donors under the wedding canopy – Chupa –, which is a well-known Segula for all for salvation and success.
